What’s a widget? —-> those stuff on the sidebar.
I was searching all over and couldn’t find anything about how to create a static widget for wordpress. So I decide to tweak around and found a way around that. I am not ready to post how I go about this, but do email me and we’ll work something out. Basically the advantages of my static widget implementation are:
- Widget on sidebar will remain for all existing wordpress themes
- Widget is invisible to user, so this widget cannot be removed by the user.
With this static widget in place, I can have Google Ads or other advertisers banner/logo etc placed site wide.
